Collation: Parchment (southern preparation), fol. 100 ; 1-1010 ; catchwords underscored in red.
Layout: Written in 36 lines in 2 columns beginning on the first ruled line; ruled in pencil.
Script: Written in Italian gothic rotunda media, showning humanistic influence; headings in red in script of text.
Decoration: fol. 1r: red initial with blue and red flourishes 7 lines high; smaller alternating red and blue initials with contrasting flourishes throughout; initials in the text touched with yellow; alternating red and blue paragraph marks; incipits touched with yellow.
Origin: Written in central Italy in the middle of the 15th century.
Fol. 1, lower margin, largely damaged library stamp bearing a fleur-de-lys; "56" written in pen.
Notes dating after 1926 in French on front pastedown.
