Top of leaf [29] replaced with a different piece of vellum, on which text has been rewritten, more closely-spaced, and in darker ink; illuminated border has been interrupted as well, suggesting the correction of a mid-page error or omission.
Prickings visible along outer margins of leaves.
Illuminated arms of former owners, a comte du Lude and his wife, a member of the house of Boifeuillet, on leaves [47v] and [69v]; arms of the count alone on leaves [58v], [62v], [74r], and [94v].
Notations by another owner, in a later hand, on calendar leaves [3r], [5r], and [11v], indicating special occurrences such as a particular Easter followed by an earthquake, the taking of vows, and the death of a father, for the years 1578, 1580, 1586.
Imperfect: calendar leaves for January wanting.
Binding signed "Arnold a Lille 1866" on front pastedown.
