Text in bastarda hand, in brown ink; in two columns ruled in brown; capitals, chapter headings, underlining, and paragraph marks in red; large red initials at the beginning of each book; other large initials were never executed, as evidenced by spaces left blank; marginal cross-references to the exempla used in the sermons.
Watermark: crown ("couronne") similar to Briquet 4636-4648, especially 4637, compatible with date of 1433, and location in southern Germany or Switzerland.
Some loss of text due to torn leaves (repaired with Japanese tissue paper), and insect damage. - Keyword:
