Small leaf (11 cm) of fine vellum, containing fragment of a prayer or psalm in a small gothic hand in black, lightly ruled in brown; illuminated capitals in blue and gold with red and blue pen-flourishing; large gold capital on blue and pink background; illuminated border decoration of trailing holly in black with gilt berries; gold and blue line fillers. Large vellum leaf (18 cm) containing fragment of a prayer or psalm in a large liturgical gothic hand in brown ink, lightly ruled in brown; blue and gold capitals with fine red and black penwork infill and surround; two large gilt capitals on red and purple backgrounds decorated with white penwork; border illuminations of black, brown, and blue, with gilt leaves.
