Text in two rounded gothic bookhands in brown ink, arranged in two columns of 44 lines per page; alternating red and blue capitals, with contrasting blue, purple, or red penwork tracery; alternating red and blue paragraph strokes; headings in red; catchwords; bounding lines lightly ruled in brown; some natural parchment flaws, with text written around them.
Marginal captions in bookhand; marginal corrections and instructions to rubricator in a different smaller hand.
Tears in vellum leaves have been repaired with stitching.
Leaves arranged in 18 quires of 12 leaves; first quire has 5 leaves, and third has 13 leaves.
Front and back pastedowns are vellum leaves of early antiphonals, with square notation in brown arranged on red 5-lined staves, with Latin words in large rounded lowercase roman letters. - Keyword:
