Collation: Parchment, fol. 199 (foliated 1-150, 160-209); 1-26 38(-8) 48 510(-10) 6-138 144 15-218 228 (-7,8) 2312 248(-8) 25-268; plus mark after middle of the quire sometimes present; horizontal and vertical catchwords.
Layout: Written in 15 long lines; ruled in violet ink.
Script: Written in gothic textualis quadrata media by at least two scribes; fol. 90r: an instance of change in ink and quite probably of hand.
Decoration: Five half-page illuminations: fol. 29r (the Annunciation, fantastic bird-serpent and duck-mammal in blue and violet acanthus margins on a compartmentalized gold, red, and brown ground); fol. 86r (David in prayer, a harp at his side, a fantastic mammal in a similar border on a compartmentalized clear and gold ground
Origin: Written in France, possibly in Orléans (see calendar and litany), in about 1480; style of miniatures suggests influence of Tours.
