Collation: Parchment, fol. 188 (modern foliation 1-183, unnumbered folios after fol. 7, 14, 32, 112, and 116); 1-78 810 (5 stub only) 9-228 2312(-12), quires numbered I-XXII on lower margin of verso of last folio; catchwords.
Layout: Written in 40 lines in two columns; prickings visible in outer margin of verso of last folio.
Script: Written in northern European gothic textualis media.
Decoration: fol. 1r: flourished initial 8 lines high extended to form partial margins; at beginning of texts 1-6; initial word or words written alternately in red and blue; alternating blue and red flourished initials and paragraph marks throughout.
Origin: Written in Germany or Austria in the first half of the 14th century.
Former owner's inscription: Monasterii Mellicensis.
