Collation: Parchment, fol. i + 137 +i; 12 2-148 15-1610 1712(-1); quires 2-11, catchwords in plain rectangles, quires 12-17, in crinkled rectangles.
Layout: fol. 2r-74r written in 21-23 long lines; fol. 74v-136r, written in 20 long lines.
Script: fol. 2r-74r written in anglicana formata; fol. 74v-136r, written in gothic textualis precisa media, this latter script appears to be a conscious imitation of proto-gothic script of the 12th century, consistent with the occasional presence of hard-point ruling in this portion.
Origin: Written in England in the middle of the 14th century, possibly durning the lifetime of Richard Rolle.
