Decoration: Four magenta initials on gold grounds 10 lines high historiated in magenta, blue, and white at beginning of each book: fol. 1r: Peter Lombard as bishop, teaching; fol. 3r: Ecclesia et synogoga; fol. 59v: creation of Eva; fol. 112v: the Nativity; fol. 153r: Holy Communion. Flyleaf contains a table of distinctiones with references to the text by two southern hands, the smaller of which is quite possibly one of the hands of the gloss.
