Cat. of pre-1500 western manuscript books. Layout: Written in 16 long lines; ruled in violet ink. Script: Written in Italian style gothic textualis rotunda media. Decoration: Heading in red in script of text; gold, blue, and magenta dentelle initials; minor blue initials with red flourishes and gold initials with black flourishes. Origin: Written in the Low Countries, possibly in Bruges ca. 1450 as indicated by the initials, ruling, and fragments of border decoration. Accompanied by a facsimile of the binding made by Barbara Korbel, Newberry Library Conservator, in 2013; in box labeled: Girdle book model.
