Layout: Written in 32 long lines beginning on the second ruled line; ruled in plummet: prickings visible in outer margin on f. 1 only; horizontal catchwords.
Script: Written in humanistic textualis media.
Decoration: Headings in red in script of text; running headings in upper margin in rustic capitals in violet ink; gold initials decorated with white vine stem 5 lines high at the beginning of each play; each initial on a rectangular ground of blue, violet, and green; blue minor initials throughout.
Origin: Written in Florence between 1415 and 1420, date and place indicated by the initials.
