Collation: Parchment, fol. i (modern paper) + 119; 1-148 158(-8). Break in text indicated at least one quire missing before fol. 2; another quire removed after fol. 97.
Layout: Written in 30 long lines; ruled in hard point and plummet with double boundary lines and numerous horizontal lines extending into margins: prickings in inner margins.
Script: Written in proto-gothic textualis formata.
Decoration: Red initials patterned 4-6 lines high.
Origin: Written in England between 1175 and 1200 at Saint Mary's Reading.
