Two illuminated manuscript leaves in gold, blue, and red; initials in gold, red and blue, and one red pen-flourished initial, disbound from books of hours probably of 15th century French or Flemish origins; one fragment contains Psalm 139 and the other contains Lesson 1 of the First Nocturn of the Matins of the Dead. Forms part of the Howard Mayer Brown Collection at the Newberry Library. Gift of Robert Williams to Howard Mayer Brown, purchased from Folio Fine Arts before 1973.
