Layout: Written in 17 lines.
Script: Written in brown ink in a neat rounded gothic bookhand.
Decoration: Some flourished cadels, headings in red, 2-line initials throughout in red or blue, a few with decorative penwork in other colors, some larger initials up to 4 lines high with contrasting penwork.
Origin: Watermarks and linguistic evidence suggest Northern Italian origin, possibly near Milan or more likely Pavia.
Provenance: Inscription (17th century?), fol.1r: "Di Gio[vanni] Cusi"
