Collation: Parchment, fol. 88 (ink foliation, 19th century, 7-12, 15-40, 77-132; more recent folio, 1-88; quires 2, 3, and 4, numbered 6, 7, and 8 by a modern hand on upper margins of first folios; therefore, 3 initial quires and part of 4th lost prior to 18th century, 6 folios before fol. 1, 2 folios after fol. 6, and 36 folios after fol. 23, removed more recently; fol. 85-88, badly stained... Layout: Written in 26 long lines beginning on the first ruled line; ruled in hard point; prickings visible in outer margin. Script: Written in humanistic cursiva formata; initial letter of each line in rustic capitals; initial of each stanza and headings in red or violet in script of text; gloss written in humanistics cursiva with lemmata, some red or violet identical to that of headings in the text, some underlined in the same colors; text and gloass written by a single scribe. Origin: Written in Italy in the last third of the 15th century.
