Declamatio Lucretiae by Coluccio Salutati.
The second part has caption: Altera pars Declamationis. V[ue] Lucretiae rñsio.
The work is discussed in Alfred V. Martin's edition of Salutati's Tractatus de tyranno (Berlin, 1913), page 18. Martin cites a number of manuscript sources. According to Martin, the text was originally published in the Epistolae familiares of Pope Pius II (Milan, 1496), letter no. 427.

Decoration: Some initials in blue.
Origin: Written in Italy in the 15th century.
Former owner: Matteo Luigi Canonici of Venice (1727-1806) with his summary table of contents on slip tipped onto front flyleaf.
