Collation: Parchment, fol. 114 (paginated 1-197, 1-29); 1-1912 106; space in binding indicates missing quires confirmed by 17th century table on verso of front cover which lists (visible only under ultraviolet lamp) a third text; catch words in red rectangles.
Layout: Written in 23-31 long lines.
Script: Written in anglicana formata.
Decoration: fol. 2r: illuminated initial extended to form full gold spike border with red, blue, and green foliage decoration. Capital letters in blue with red ornamentation. Red paragraph marks and line fillers.
Origin: Written in England, the dialect suggests Northamptonshire, ca. 1400.
