The attribution to Donatus is sometimes questioned.
Consists of only the opening passages, ending with: Audi inquit quo pacto id conijtio. Quo queda[que]. After line 24, it departs from the printed text and ends with a conversation between Virgil and Caesar Augustus.
The vita, in its complete form, is found in many early editions of Virgil; this version varies slightly in the wording.
Layout: Written in 21 long lines; ruled in hard-point.
Script: Written in Humanistic script.
Decoration: Some initials in blue.
