Collation: Parchment, fol. 35 ; 18 +1 2-48 58 (-3-8) ; quires signed 1-4 surrounded by radiating dashes and dots ; catchwords present on quire 1, traces of a catchword for quire 3 Layout: Written in 23 long lines beginning on the first ruled line; ruled in hard point ; pricking visible in outer margins. Script: Written in humanistic textualis formata; headings in violet in rustic capitals; incipit on fol. 2v in rustic capitals with letters alternately in violet and black in; names of personae in violet in rustic capitals or in script of text. Origin: Written in Naples by Giovanmarco Cinico of Parma in 1467, signed and dated on fol. 33r. This codex on of four or five manuscripts written by him listed in Colophons de manuscripts occidentaux, 10444 sqq.; this manuscript is no. 10460. Former owner: C. L. Ricketts. Forms part of the C. L. Ricketts Calligraphy Collection at the Newberry Library. Formerly in the library of Alfonso of Aragon in Naples. This is not the manuscript of Diogenes copied by by Giovanmarco which belonged to the Marchese Girolamo d'Adda and Charles Fairfax Murray. Purchased by C. L. Ricketts from de Marinis.
