Collation: Paper, furry ; fol. 24 (quire 1 contains watermark of a Greek cross, cf. Briquest 5464; quire 2 contains water mark of six-lobed flower, Briquet, 6515) ; 1-212 ; quires numbered on verso of last leaf: quire 1, "quartur"; quire 2 "2us" ; catchwords at the end of Book I, "Est celare [?]" do not match initial words on quire 2.
Layout: Frame ruled ink.
Script: Written in northern European gothic cursive currens; headings Rhine Valley hybrida media; fol. 16r: heading for Book II in script of text.
Decoration: fol. 9v and 16v: crude green initials on grounds of pink and magenta; fol. 9r: crudely penned floral decoration in lower margin.
Origin: Written in southern Germany, as indicated by texture of paper, watermarks, and initials, in the 2nd half of the 15th century.
Letter "H" written on the verso of the back cover, erased but still visible. - Keyword:
