Script: Texts 1 and 7-12 written in humanistic cursiva in light brown ink; the remainder of the medieval book written in humanistic cursiva in very dark ink; text 2 in humanistic cursiva by an 18th century hand; texts 15, 17, 21,22, 24, 29 and 35 in masculine form; text 34 in feminine form. Origin: Written in Italy in the 2nd half of the 14th century. Coats of arms on fol. 1r, unidentified: reading from the left, the arms of a cardinal of the Orsini family (Rome), the arms of the Pagni family (Florence), and unidentified arms. Summary table of contents in French on front pastedown, 19th century?; the initials "CN" written below a cross.
