Layout: Written in 34-40 long lines; ruled lightly in plummet.
Script: Written in Italian hybrida.
Decoration 1: Full page illumination of a harp in black, brown, and red, text of "Harpe de mellodie" within: fol. 10r.
Decoration 2: Table set between five Italian gothic columns and vaults in the same colors: fol 43v.
Decoration 3: Blue initials with red flourishes alternating with red initials with blue flourishes, both with intricate pen work in the interior, 7-10 lines high: fols. 7v, 10v, and 33r; a similar red and blue initial 7 lines high: fol. 43r.
Decoration 4: Simple alternating red and blue initials and red paragraph marks throughout.
Origin: Written in Pavia by Friar G. de Anglia, 2 October 1391, signed and dated on fol. 6v.
Stamps on front cover include: right margin, Christopher, and lower margin, a friar with a nimbus of beams of radiating light. Shelf-mark "E" embossed on front cover. - Keyword:
