Collation: Paper (Briquet, 15822) fol. 143; 1-420 520(+1) 620(+1) 720(+1); leaves 81-101, 137-143 blank.
Layout: Written in 2 columns of 45; columns ruled in lead.
Script: Written in two hands with marginal commentary by Nicephorus Gregoras added by a third scribe in a later 15th century hand.
Decoration: Several diagrams and charts throughout; decorative initals and head-pieces in red at head of each chapter.
Origin: Mostly likely a copy produced in Italy during the 15th century of Vatican Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, MS Urb. gr. 82, probably commissioned by Francesco Barbaro.
