Layout: Written in 2 columns of 45; columns ruled in lead. Script: Written in two hands with marginal commentary by Nicephorus Gregoras added by a third scribe in a later 15th century hand. Decoration: Several diagrams and charts throughout; decorative initals and head-pieces in red at head of each chapter. Origin: Mostly likely a copy produced in Italy during the 15th century of Vatican Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, MS Urb. gr. 82, probably commissioned by Francesco Barbaro.
