Layout: Written in 5 long lines; ruled in hard- and lead-point.
Script: Written in southern textura.
Decoration: Fol. 1v large foliate initial "A" in gold and red on blue background with light purple border; fol. 2v, 4v, 5r, 6r, and 74v medium foliate initials in blue, green, red, purple, and gold; medium alternating red and blue initials on a background of yellow with blue and red foliate designs, respectively; medium black strapwork initials (some decorated with scrollwork; fol. 87r signed...
Music: Red 5-line staves with black square and measured notation; 5 staves per page. Occasionally sharps, flats, fermatas, and mensuration signs have been added by a later hand. Credo "Tercero" includes two sections of white notation; Credo "Romano" has rhythmic changes added in a later hand.
