Collation: Parchment, fol. 121 (foliated in contemporary(?) black ink 1-97); 12 2-88 99(-2) 10-128 13-202 212(-1) 225(+5); prickings visible in upper and outer margin; leaves mended by sewing.
Layout: Written chiefly in 5 long lines, frame ruled in lead point; other leaves vary between 3-9 long lines, ruled in lead- and hard-point.
Script: Written in southern textura in approximately 7 different hands; hand A: fol. 3v-99v; hand B; 3r (bottom of leaf), 100-115v; hand C: 116r-116v; hand D: 1r-2v; 117r-120r; hand E: 121r-121v; hand F: fol. 3r (top of leaf).

Origin: Probably written in Extremadura, Spain, 17th century; fol. 100-115 probably later; probably Franciscan in origin based upon the inclusion of saints Peter of Alcantara, Anthony of Padua, and Diadacus.
Marginal annotations in Spanish in a later(?) hand: fol. 3r, 43v, 58r, 68v, and 73v.
Variant text added in a later hand: fol. 10v, 53r, 54r-54v, 56v, 58r-59r, and 63v-65r.
Fol. 115v text corrected with paper pastedown "exûta carnis tegmine."
Fols. 89r-89v, 115r-115v, and 120r have evidence of paper pastedowns (now missing) that probably had variant text.
