Layout: Written in 24 lines in two columns; ruled in pen (fol. 1r-150v); and lead and hard point (fol. 151r-230v).
Script: Written in Italian gothic textualis media formata in very black to brown Italian ink by several hands.
Decoration: fol. 13r: blue, green, and violet initial on gold ground historiated with a red poppy 4 lines high; fol. 14r: initial in same colors 8 lines high; full Ferrara style border of blue and pink flowers, acanthus, thistles, small radiating gold disks; fol. 151r, 168r: and passim, initials in similar but not identical style and colors; red initials with violet flourishes alternating with...
Origin: Written in Italy, possibly in central Italy, as indicated by the calendar, between 1471 and 1484 (during the pontificate of Sixtus IV).
