Collation: Parchment, fol. 289; 1-210 36 4-510 66 7-910 10-114 12-1910 208 21-2710 286 294(+1) 30-3110 328 332; quires disturbed in rebinding, portions of Psalter and Proper of Saints lacking; catchwords surrounded by four strokes.
Layout: Written in 36 lines in two columns; prickings visible on outer edges; ruled in lead point.
Script: Written in Italian gothic textualis media with one story "a" and trailing terminal "s."
Decoration: fol. 1r, historiated orange, blue, green, pink, and black initial on a gold ground 15 lines high showing God the Father with an open book displaying the letters alpha and omega; an initial in the right column the same colors 12 lines high; both initials extending to form a delicate floral border with blue, red, and green flowers, an exotic bird in the lower right margin, a moth in...
Origin: Written in Italy, probably central Italy, as indicated by the minor initials, approximately 1400.

Brief note, 19th century, on verso of front flyleaf describes manuscript. "1361" and "11" written in pencil.
