Layout: Written in 21 long lines; ruled in brown ink; prickings visible in outer margins. Script: Written in hybrida media. 1. Decoration: Six crudely painted miniatures on inserted leaves, each within a silver flamboyant gothic arch frame, three silver balls at the top (partially trimmed: fol. 11v, (Virgin and Child surrounded by four angels); fol. 39v (Gnadenstuhl Trinity); fol. 56v (Christ on the Cross between the two thieves, below, Mary and John the Evangelist, two female figures and a man on horseback); fol... 2. Decoration: Major divisions of the text begin with crude red and blue initials with red and blue flourished touched with green, sometimes yellow, 9-10 lines high. Other divisions begin with red initials with blue tipped with green flourishes alternating with blue initials with red tipped with green flourishes, 3 lines high. Alternating minor simple red and blue initials with the text... Origin: Written in Holland, probably in Enkhuizen, whose patron saint Gummar is in red in the calendar, after 1471, date of the election of Sixtus IV, to whom text 19 is attributed.
