Collation: Parchment (southern preparation), fol. ii + 100 +i; 1-1010; catchwords present: 1-2 horizontal within four dots; 3-5 within scrolls; 6-9 vertical within red dots.
Layout: Written in 37 lines in two columns; ruled in ink.
Script: fol. 1r-58v, written in humanistic textualis media, quires 1-2 by one hand, quires 3-6 (to fol. 58v) by another; fol. 58v-100r, written in Italian gothic textualis media, with one-story a and trailing terminal s beginning on the first ruled line throughout.
Decoration: Square roman capitals illuminated in magenta, blue, or gold, decorated with green acanthus spray, fol. 1r, 11r, and 16vv; alternating red and blue minor rustic capital initials, washed with yellow throughout.
Origin: Written in central Italy during the pontificate of Paul II (1464-1471). Note of 15th century on rear flyleaf: Omnes isti summi pontifices a sancto Petro usque ad Sixtum 4m, ccil XXti sex.
