Layout: Written in 14 long lines except for the calendar written in 17 long lines; ruled in violet ink. Script: Written in cursica formata; calendar and fol. 53r-112v in lettre bâtarde media; change of scribe for the last quire. Decoration: fol. 13r, 65r, 81r, blank space reserved for half-page miniatures with full rinceaux border decoration in the presence of gold, blue, and red initials 5 lines high; fol. 33v, 41r, 47r, 52v, 55v, bracket left margin; fol. 52v, bracket left margin; fol. 21r-104r, gold dentelle initials with white patterning on grounds of blue and magenta; fol. 1r-12r, 104v to end, gold initials on... Origin: Written in France, probably in Le Mans, in approximately 1450; the last quire, the initials of the calendar, and the final initials may be later additions.
