Collation: Paper (watermarked with crescent and flower somewhat similar to Briquet, 5296-5297); 1-310 48 5-610 712 8-1010; vertical catchwords.
Layout: Written in 25 long lines beginning in the first ruled line; ruled in hard point and plummet.
Script: Written in humanistic textualis formata.
Decoration: fol.1r: gold dentelle initial with white patterning on a violet ground severely damaged by moisture; fol. 64r: gold dentelle initial with white patterning on a violet ground, historiated in the interior with a scroll.
Origin: Written in Brescia by Tadeus Solacius in 1477, signed and dated on fol. 96r: Crispi Salustii historici celeberrimi de coniuratione Catilinȩ opus foeliciter transcriptum est per me Tadeum Solacium xv kalendas octobres anno millesimo quadragentesimio [sic] septuagessimo [sic] septimo, Eustachio prȩtore ac Iohanne Emo Brixiȩ prȩfecto.
Former owner's inscription: Ego Hyeronimus Robertus ab infrascripto Tadeo emi librum istum.
Includes contemporary corrections, glosses, notes, and "nota" marks by several Italian humanistic hands.
