The Rule of Saint Benedict prepared for nuns, note "figliola" in incipit; "monache" and "abbadessa" mentioned in text. Commentaries incorporated in the text under red lemmata, "Declaratio."
Collation: Parchment, fol. 61 + i (foliated 1-26); 1-48 5-610 1110(8, stub only); catchwords written in black or red ink.
Layout: Written in 30 long lines; ruled in light brown ink.
Script: Written in Italian gothic textualis rotunda formata.
Decoration: Historiated initials fol. 1r, Benedict reading his rule, monks to his right, nuns to his left, framed in dull gold 10 lines high; alternating blue initials with red flourishes and red initials with violet flourishes.
