Manuscript codex. Title from printed catalog. Collation: Parchment, fol. i (19th century insertion of missing text) + 245 (foliated 2-246); collation impracticable. Layout: Written in 26 long lines beginning on the first ruled line; ruled in hard point. Script: Written in humanistic textualis formata. Decoration: Roman style gold initials with white vine stem on grounds of blue, green, and red decorated with clusters of gold radiating disks throughout, 3-5 lines high; fol. 16v-17r, gold dentelle initials with gold and white patterning on fields of blue and green. Origin: Written in Italy, probably in Rome, apparently copied from the Rome, 1470, printed edition of Ulrich Gallus, see colophon of Hain, 13955. Number 57 from the collection of Henry Probasco. Forms part of the Henry Probasco Collection at the Newberry Library.
