Text on parchment, in a closely-spaced round italic hand, 36 lines per page; text, ruled in brown, within intersecting double-ruled borders in brown; large illuminated capital "D" outlined in dark brown, with a portrait of the Virgin and Child in center, in red, blue, and gold; on a red panel ornamented with gilt penwork; smaller gilt capitals on red and blue background, ornamented with white... Recto of last leaf ruled in brown ink, but lacking text; verso blank; prickings visible along outer margin of last four leaves. Recto of leaf [1] is a full-page colored painting of the arms of Gonçalo Bello (Alonso Bello's grandfather) in red, white, green, blue, yellow, and gray on dark purple background; caption in ocher reads "Armas de Gonçalo Bello, caballero del auto de S[an]tiago q[ue] estan en la portada y retablo de la capilla de los Bellos en la Iglesia de Trejuncos." Verso of leaf [2] contains a smaller coat of arms encircled with a leafy wreath, within wide illuminated borders painted with fruits, flowers, and leaves in red, blue, purple and green; facing page, separated by purple silk guard leaf, contains painting of a grotesque head wearing a basket of flowers, within the same illuminated borders of previous leaf; green silk guard leaf between leaves...
