Date of text from colophon: "Die 17 Martij 1496. In festo Palmar[um]: diuina adiuuante bonitate p[at]ris opus Venetijs absolui pro quo sint ei gratiae innumer[at]ae." Possibly later date of transcription suggested by handwriting and paper.
Large illuminated opening letter "C" in red, blue, green, yellow, and gold; alternating initials in blue and red; chapter numbers and headings in red; marginal notes; catchwords; 25 lines per page; bounding lines and text lines blind-ruled, perhaps with a pointed stylus.
Watermarks include the ladder, an exclusively Italian watermark, similar to Briquet 5910, 5911 (e.g. leaf [35]); and the anchor within a circle, another typically Italian mark (e.g. leaves 54, 118).
Includes index (leaves [1]-[7]): "Tabula principalium hoc in opere contentor[us] per alphabetum."
In a neat humanistic rotunda hand.
