Laid in at beginning of text: armorial drawing in red, blue, black, yellow, and gilt of the coat of arms of Joseph Palomino de Ochoa, encircled by scrolls of red acanthus leaves and garlands, blue ribbons, red and blue battle standards, and a helmet from a suit of armor topped with blue, red, and gold plumes.
Note on front endpaper, in pencil, in a modern hand: "Bernardino y Eduardo Madrazo Arrauz (renteros de las tierras de Luis Sanilla y Padilla)." Note in a similar hand on back endpaper.
