Incipit: "Incipit sextus liber in anno domini MCCLXXXVII Bonifacius ep[is]c[opus] s[er]vus s[er]voru[m] dei dilectis filiis doctorib[us] [et] scolaribus ... salute[m] [et] ap[osto]licam b[e]n[e]dictionem." Explicit [as bound]: "In deg[re]dati[on]e cl[er]ico[rum] i[n] sacris ordinib[us] co[n]stituto[rum] c[er]to ep[iscop]o[rum] numero diffi[ni]to." This explicit is actually a line from Bk. 5, Title 9, Chpt. 2, and this section was placed at the end of the volume, rather than in its proper place because of a binding error. Although Boniface's text extends through Bk. 5, Title 11, Chpt. 24, the ms... Collation: 1-178 186 19-228 232 ; quires unsigned, horizontal and vertical catchwords. In Gothic book script (gothica textualis libraria); in two cols., 22-31 lines per p.; rubricated in alternating red and blue capitals; large initial capital in blue with red filigree decoration and red and blue pen flourishes; frame-ruled in lead in inner and outer columns, and in hard point on some leaves. Fragment of ms. music in left margin of leaf 96v. Includes later annotations, corrections, interlineal glosses, and marks of incomprehension. Binding error: gatherings 178 and 186 should follow gathering 232, thus making the last sentence of leaf 186 the explicit.
