Note:

Traditionally attributed to Henry Parker, whose authorship has now been disproved. See H.G. Pfander, The Library 14 (1933): 299-312; and H.G. Richardson, The Library 15 (1934): 31-37.
Words "pauper" and "dives" highlighted with bold lettering and red underlining throughout text; other passages of text underlined as well.
Pattern of staining on edges of leaf fragment, and fold on left side of ms. with string running down fold suggest that it may have been used in the binding of another text, perhaps as a pastedown.
Former owner Louis H. Silver; removed from his copy of Dives and pauper. London : Richard Pynson, 1493.
