Faint water stains on many pages; corners worn; f. 48 is detached and laid in.

Title and attribution from caption title (f.1r).
Collation: Paper, i (modern paper) + 95; [ii], 1-91, [ii]; contemporary foliation in ink, upper right recto. four quires numbered on the lower left corner of their first folio (f. ir, 23r, 47r, 67r).
Script: Written in one predominant notarial hand (f. 1-19, 21, 47-55, 67-71, 73-80) with others interspersed.
Origin: Written in Tarn-et-Garonne (Zacour-Hirsch) between 1467 and 1576.
Binding: Contemporary vellum (Zacour-Hirsch) with vellum ties now lost; diamond-shaped paper label on lower spine with number 1145.
Stamps in red ink: Cabinet de M. le Comte Chappaz de la Prat (f.ir, f.89v), Cte. Chappaz de la Prat, Bibliothèque (f.1r).
