Collation: Paper, 136; 1-22 3-158 168(-7) 178 1812(-1); modern pencil foliation 1-136 upper right recto. Layout: Written in 22 long lines. Script: Written in the humanistic cursive hand of Ardillonius (signature f.135r); marginal annotations in a different humanistic cursive hand. Watermark: Contains elements similar to Croix Grecque 5457 (1580) and 5465 (1573); two examples of other watermarks similar to Aigle 207 (1573-76, f.3-4), Fleur de Lis 6956 (1549, f.1-2) and 7000 (1580, f.1-2). Decoration: Pen flourishes at the end of each act. Binding: Contemporary vellum, pastedown on lower cover. Origin: Written in Italy in the late 16th century. Owned by Francis Colman, 1703 (owner signature inside upper cover). Sold by H. W. Edwards (London), 1966.
