Physical description: 23 lines per page. Written in medium large naskh in black ink with use of red. Yāʾ for alif maqṣūrah ; final yāʾ dotted. The text is partially vocalized. Fol. 43-44 and 51-54 are later replacements. Marginal annotations. The text has been collated. Several inscriptions on fol. 1a, including audition statements (samāʻ) and ownership statements. Chiefly quinions. Catchword on the verso of each leaf ; the quires are numbered using Arabic ordinals (see "al-Thānī" on fol. 9a).
Inscription in Arabic script in red pencil on fol. 1a: "Raqm 453" and "Raqm 718".
Origin: According to colophon, copied by Ilyās ibn Ibrāhīm al-Khaṭīb bi-ʻAyn al-Zaytūn [near Ṣafad], Friday 10 Muḥarram 725 [Dec. 1324] (fol. 190a, collation statements on the margin).
