Written in medium large naskh (professional hand) in black ink (faded to brown), with use of red for headings and entries. Cream paper, glossy, with laid and chain lines visible. Ḥāshiyah on the margins and between the lines on the main text. Table of contents and several inscriptions, including ownership statements and verses of poetry in Ottoman... Origin: According to colophon, copy completed on Wednesday 10 Ramaḍān 762 [July 14, 1361] by Nāsiḥ ibn Kūnaj al-Aqsarāʼī(?) (fol. 149a). Inscription dated 1037 H. [1627 or 28], most probably ownership statement, on fol. 1a. Several ownership statements on fol. 2a. Acquired by Robert Garrett from the books of Murād Bey al-Bārūdī (Beirut), 1925.
