Ms. codex. Title from title page (fol. 1a). Physical description: 25 lines per page. Written in medium small naskh (professional hand) in black ink with use of red. Red dot text-stops. European paper with watermark. Inscription in Arabic script in red pencil on a label pasted on the upper cover: "Sh 31" (repeated on the pastedown of the upper cover). Collation: Paper, fol. i, 411, i ; i (later added fly-leaf) 1-4010 4110 (+1, end of quire) i (later added fly-leaf) ; catchword on the verso of each leaf ; the quires are numbered using Arabic numerals in the form "K 1" (see fol. 1a). Origin: According to the colophon, copy completed on Saturday 1 Jumādá al-Ākhir 1168 [March 15, 1755] by Ibrāhīm Ibn Aḥmad al-Kinānī(?) al-ʻAjlūnī, from a copy (musawwadah) written by the author. From the books of Aḥmad ibn Ṭaha al-Ashrafī (ownership statement on fol. 1a). Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942.
