Physical description: 17 lines per page. Written in small naskh in black ink with use of red for entries. Dark cream paper, glossy, hardly translucid, with pulp and a few lines visible.
Audition statement dated 9 Jumādá al-Ūlá 877 (867?), under the shaykh Shams al-Dīn Abī ʻAbd Allāh Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm(?) Ibn Muḥammad al--rāmī al-Shāfiʻī, ʻAbd al-Hādī reading.
Collation: Paper, fol. 25 ; 1-210 34 (+1 at beginning of quire, fol. 21) ; catchword on the verso of the first leaves of the quire (1-5) and of the last leaf of each quire (10).
Origin: Copied for himself (li-nafsih) by ʻUthmān ibn al-Shaykh ʻAbd al-Ṣamad al-khaṭīb ibn al-marḥūm Aḥmad al-Shāfiʻī, on Thursday 25 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 864 [Sept. 11, 1460] (colophon, fol. 25a).
