The title appears in the preamble as: Majālis al-abrār wa-masālik al-akhyār wa-maḥāʼiq al-bidaʻ wa-maqāmiʻ al-ashrār (fol. 3b, l. 19) Incipit: الحمد لله الذى رفع اقدار العلماء بمقدار معرفة كتابه المحكم ثم هدى المحدثين بمصابيح السنّة ... وبعد هذا المكتوب بالقلم شرح لبعض صحاح المعظم Explicit: لان الرضاء شرط فى لزوم المال وسقوطه والاكراه بعدم الرضاء على ما بين فى موضعه Physical description: 23 lines per page. Written in medium small taʻlīq, in black ink with use of magenta for headings and overlinings. European paper with watermark, glossy. Later pieces of paper with inscritpions placed between the leaves. Short excerpt from Sharḥ-i kabīr by another hand on last folio. The last leaves are stained. Inscription in Western numerals on a label pasted on the upper cover: "550". Inscriptions with dates on fol. 3a: 28 Shubāṭ 1322 ; 17 Muḥarram 1324.
