Incipit: الحمد لله والشكر لله ولا حول ولا قوة الا بالله واشهد ان لا اله الا الله واشهد ان محمد رسول الله يقول سيدنا الامام العالم العلامة الاوحد شمس الدين ابو عبد الله محمد بن احمد بن عثمان الذهبى رضى الله عنه هذا مختصر نافع فى رجال الكتب الستة الصحيحين والسنن الاربعة Explicit: ام سلمه قالت ابى ساير ازواج التبى صلى الله عليه وسلم ان يدخل عليهن بتلك الرضاعه Physical description: 25 lines per page. Written in medium small square naskh in black ink with use of red for headings, entries and re-inking. Light biscuit paper with large laid lines visible. Marginal annotations, apparently by the same hand as the main text (mainly additions). Fol. 1 is a later replacement. Inscription in Arabic numerals on fol. 1a: "87". Title in Arabic script on a label... Origin: Copy completed by Aḥmad al-Ḥalabī on 11 Rabīʻ al-Ākhar 793 [March 18, 1391] in Cairo (al-Qāhirah) (colophon, fol. 361a, followed by one verse of poetry). Ownership statement in the name of Muḥammad Wafd Allāh ibn al-shaykh Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Sulaymān al-Maghribī al-Mālikī (fol. 1a). Acquired from Abraham Shalom Yahuda, 1942.
