Ms. codex. Title from colophon (fol. 268a). 33 lines per page. Written in a casual medium small naskh in black ink with use of red for "qawluhu", "bāb", re-inking and overlining. Thick cream paper, glossy, laid lines and pulp visible. Marginal annotations, mainly collation notes. Catchword on the verso of each leaf. Water damage at the beginning and the end of the vol., text still legible. Copy completed on 15 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 834 [July 25, 1431] by Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad al-Maḥallī al-Tūnī (colophon, fol. 268a). Two spine labels (vertical), reading respectively: "al-Kawākib al-darārī fī sharḥ Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī lil-Kirmānī" (in Arabic sript) and "281" (in Arabic and Western numerals). Acquired by Robert Garrett from Brill, Leiden, 1925, from the books of Murād Bey al-Bārūdī (Beirut).
