Illuminated title page (ʻunwān) on fol. 1a: Simple illumination, with an upper panel with the inscription "al-Juzʼ al-ḥādī wa-al-ʻashrūn" written in gold outlined in black in a cloud cartouche left blank over a ground hatched in red with gold dots in groups of three. Reading statements on the margins of fol. 133a, one signed Abū Bakr ibn ʻAlī Ibn al-Ḥarīrī al-Shāfiʻī (on whom see also Princeton, Islamic manuscripts, Garrett no. 235B) ; another in the name of the copyist.
Copy completed by Ṭalḥah on Saturday 14 Dhū al-Qaʻdah 809 [April 1407] (colophon, fol. 133b).
