25 lines per page. Written in small naskh in black ink with use of red. European glazed paper. Some marginal notes. Modern foliation in pencil using Western numerals.
Copied by "al-Shaykh Aḥmad ibn al-marḥūm al-Shaykh Muḥammad" on the 14th ("the 15th night") of Ṣafar 1128 -- colophon (fol.170b).
Illegible ownership seal on fol. 170b. with an accompanying note in Ottoman, dated Rajab 1128 (?) -- see fol. 170b. Label in Arabic on inside of upper cover: "Ḥ 85/2". Label in Arabic on outside of upper cover : "Ḥadīth 54".
