Layout: Written in 19 long lines; frame-ruled in red.
Script: Written in a Gothic cursiva formata bastarda hand; single compartment a, looped ascenders, f and s descend below line.

Origin: Produced for the Chasseigne family of Nevers, France in the early 16th century. Hours of the Virgin follow use of Nevers, and the Chasseigne family arms are present on fol. 6v.
